My name is Gabriel Prero. Born and raised in Chicago, I always had a thing for tinkering and needing to know how things work. I have many memories of following my father around the house on an otherwise lazy Sunday afternoon as he fixed, installed, rewired, and otherwise tweaked our house, constantly barraging him with questions beginning with a “why” or a “how.” I like fixing things. I like making things. I like solving problems. I like making things better. As a design professional, it rarely feels like the hours required to complete projects are “work”; to me, it’s fun. Ok, sometimes it’s work. But enjoyable work. I feel privileged to exemplify the old adage, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Gabriel was a fantastic collaborator on our project. We were pleasantly surprised that he nailed the concept right off the bat and we did not need to go back to the drawing board. His skill and expertise […] took our product design to the next level and breathed new life into a project we had been working on for 3 years.
