UIC A+A Wayfinders

Our Senior Design show was to be held in the very confusing UIC Art + Architecture Building. In order to help direct people to their locations of interest, I and 2 colleagues developed a color-coded arrow placard system. The arrows were labeled with initials of the 3 departments exhibiting at the show. The nesting arrows would group together at the entrance and separate when neccessary to point guests in the right direction. Color indicators were placed in the final exhibition spaces to match the color scheme on each placard. After the show, School Director Marcia Lausen asked that we make this a permanent fixture.
